James A. Tunick, received his B.A. from Yale University and Master’s from NYU Tisch ITP. Both institutions have partnered with IMC Lab on digital art exhibitions. In addition to his work on The IMC Lab, Tunick was invited by Hunter College president, Jenifer Raab, to serve on the advisory board for the Interactive Media Arts master’s program. He also gives an annual lecture on digital art at SVA and he served on the advisory board for the virtual reality cinema, Jump into the Light.
Tunick has two patents pending and his work has been featured in Rollingstone Magazine, the Museum of Modern Art, and in two books. Tunick's art and technology have also been featured in the Time Warner Center, Times Square, movie theaters, as well as the NY Times, LA Times, on NY1 News, and The Discovery Channel.
